He said he'd give her time. And so he will, much as he wants to jump on that hesitation and invite her back, even if it'd just be falling asleep the second he got there. "Just don't work too hard, huh? You've got a big date tomorrow." he adds with a smile, before digging into the best meal he's ever had.
